
Collingwood Ethanol, L.P. is converting a wet mill starch plant into a 52 million litres per year ethanol plant. This conversion project involves upgrading the site to include a wet mill, corn handling conveyor system, steep tanks, yeast covering system, building upgrades, new boiler room, and all associated structural work. The newly overhauled plant is expected to start production in June 2007.
When completed the plant will create 50 jobs in the plant and an additional 20 indirect jobs in the service of the plant.
